2009 Ended with great fun and excitement.  Corey and Katie’s visit from Senegal for the Family Retreat in November and Julie and Jeremy’s visit from Chicago in December generated a lot of interest in my transition to Senegal in 2010.  Please pray that the interest will translate to commitment to be part of my Support Team.

The Family Retreat is just over a week away – November 20.  Please pray for all the arrangements.  Corey and Katie and the girls are coming to be the speakers!  Please pray for them as they are preparing the presentations over a week and also for their travel.  Please pray for the people who will be coming that they will be effectively equipped to be effective ambassadors for Christ!

Praises for the completion of the brochure that I will be passing out to those who are interested in learning more and how they can join this support team.  Pray that it will clearly share the vision and people will be touched by God to participate.

The church board meeting went well. My job will be divided into two major new job areas.  Family Ministry will go into another new job description.   An adjusted Job Description for only Children’s Ministry was presented and approved.  The board decided to open the job search to the church community to be sure we consider all available qualified candidates.  Please keep this selection process in your prayers!
