With the Official acceptance of Priscilla as the new Director of Children’s Ministries and the voting in of the 2010 Budget the next item on the agenda of the church board is the distribution of our Christian Works Funds, out of which will come  the church’s portion of my support!  Please be in prayer for this meeting on 7 February.  Once this is determined I will be launching an active Campaign to raise up my support team!  Please pray for many people to join my team to be in prayer for me for the next two years.  Please pray for people to join my financial team also.  Please pray that I will remain healthy and strong through all the stress of the changes and activity over the next months!

Our Annual meeting was last night and we had a good turn out.  Priscilla Wilson was voted in as the new Director of Children’s Ministries so we are officially on the way to a transition!  Please pray for Priscilla and me as we work through the transition time and the timing of it.

Our church in Abu Dhabi holds an Annual Congregational Meeting to vote in new board members, approve the budget for the year and do any other business that needs to be attended to.  THIS year, they will also be voting on my replacement for the Children’s Ministries!  The candidate, Priscilla Wilson, has been in the Gulf area for more than 10 years and in Abu Dhabi working with Children’s Ministries for the past two years.  Please pray the meeting will be well attended and the vote for Priscilla will be a clear indication of the congregation’s desire and God’s will.  Please continue to pray for the management of the areas of Family Ministry that Priscilla will NOT be taking responsibility for.  Please join us also in prayer about hiring another ministry staff to handle the Family Ministries and other ministry areas.

2009 Ended with great fun and excitement.  Corey and Katie’s visit from Senegal for the Family Retreat in November and Julie and Jeremy’s visit from Chicago in December generated a lot of interest in my transition to Senegal in 2010.  Please pray that the interest will translate to commitment to be part of my Support Team.
